about

"Bathos" is our ballad. Love this song. really get to show off my vocals on this one.

The bridge is so simple and uplifting.

This version is much different than the IN CROWDED FACES EP sketch. Very different arrangement and also Doc made me sing the chorus hook more simply whereas the original was more wordy. I think he was right. It develops better and makes a stronger point this way.

We argued a lot in the studio about this song, as our drummer did not like playing the straight beat, but it made the song so much more anthemic.

Put up your lighters. A peaceful way to end a turbulent album.
