about

"And I" was a live staple of the band but for some reason didn't make GHOST TOWN. We did this awesome demo version at Applehead, though and I like it just as much as the GTR stuff we did a few months later.

Kurt found a sitar lying around the studio (or Bittner showed it to him, I forget). Either way, the bridge is awesome. Bodie's drums are very complex and cool . This song also is my favorite McCoy song because it showed why he was such a great bassist for DIVEST. He lends the perfect amount of support while still maintaining creative character...much like a good bra.

We played this live at a show we did opening for Boysetsfire and I just remember all these kids pumping their fists. It was righteous.
